The Rethinking of Buy Nothing
Liesel Clark and Rebecca Rockefeller have this wildly popular group on Facebook called Buy Nothing. In 2018, it's starting to splinter in Jamaica Plains, a liberal area of Boston. There was an argument about whether Buy Nothing's rules of enforced civility were kind of classist and racist too. They decided that what they needed to do was get rid of the requirement for sprouting altogether.
