The Foolishness of the Week: The Chief Executive of Minneapolis Blaming Out of Towners and White Supremacists
I wouldn't at all be surprised that our GDP for this second quarter is down 20 or 30 percent, just a gargantuan amount. I suspect that those numbers are going to be indicative of a real disaster. And we've got Minneapolis mayor Jacob Fry, who blamed everything that happened in Minneapolis on white supremacists and out of towners. How did we get here that anybody would take that seriously even for a second? It's beyond shameful. George Floyd was a human being who got arrested for passing a counterfeit $20 bill and suffered the death penalty as a result. That should have been the foolishness of the week, but this week has had far more foolishness than that.
