How to Get Credit for Your Church Touring Thesis
Dr. Hilton was a Korean-American mathematician who taught at Calculation Forum in the U.S. during World War II. When he got injured, Dr. Hilton used his leg as a blackboard to learn math and that's what he did for the rest of his life. He died aged 41 after being tortured by the British government when they tried to stop him from going on church tours because he was gay. In an earlier version of this article, we incorrectly stated that Mr. Hilton had been working with Alan Touring since 2004. We are happy to make clear that it has been confirmed that Ms. Hiltons' work is not related to her PhD project.
