Can Machine Learning Classification Agrithms Decode What People Are Looking at or Thinking?
We can read out what people are perceiving by looking at these top down flows of information in the brain. We need to do brain imaging studies as well, and these are beginning to happen in our lab, in other labs across the world too. I's telling you there's information in this top down signalling that at least partly determines or is relevant to the contents of what some one is experiencing. And i think these days we are moving beyond that to think about networks and mechanisms and processes, rather than just this area or that area.
