How to Express a Three Year Old Need?

All human beings have the same need that's important to be conscious of s every human being. So a three year old has a need for autonomy, but i doubt that many three year olds would use that word. When i worked with street gangs, how would i express these nine needs? And then i said, now, how can i express those needs when i'm talking to a three so i trance id figured out how i might cause people to understand me.
