The Importance of Family in American Life
I wonder in your studies about loneliness and friendship, and the crisis of connection, where does that intersect with how Americans think about talk about feel about family. So there's this other concept that Americans focus on rhetorically and otherwise and that's the notion of the family. And so I would say families are valued more than friends but they're still not valued as much as they should be given their foundational to our health and well being.
