The Importance of Language Proficiency
Attaining proficiency in a language implies you have a solid grasp of its grammar, vocabulary and idiomatic expressions. Fluency refers to the ability to communicate effortlessly and smoothly in their language. There are various frameworks and guidelines that can provide estimates based on language difficulty and study time. I'm going to give you two framework, one from the USA and one from the European Council of Europe which give you a guide on how long you should be studying to become a proficient English speaker.
