The Battle of Benjamin
The men of Israel gave ground to Benjamin because they trusted the men in ambush whom they had set against Gibeah. The men in ambush moved out and struck the whole city with the edge of the sword. So the Benjaminites saw that they were defeated. 18,000 men of Benjamin fell, all of them men of valor,. They turned and fled toward the wilderness to the rock of Ramon. But six hundred men turned and fled from Nohah as far as opposite Gibeah on the east. After twenty-one, the Benjaminites saved from extinction.
