Paternity Leave - Should I Take the Maximum?

Gerardo's company has recently increased its paternity leave policy. Do you think he should take the maximum amount of time off, or do you think a short amount of time is more beneficial? I won't say take the maximum. But i think the more chances people can take to get away from work and to focus on other things. And i think my life needs a little bit of reshaping, and i got to figure how to do that.
