Two Short Poems
S i thought i'd i've two short poems that come to as i think about our conversation to day and about the future in imagining the possibilities. After they left, we policed ourselves, restored our spirits and quiet task until the earth ran red with iron and sweat. We called old seeds from the cavernous cold to rejoin them with the heart sick soil. Then tended our crops by hand. Every one bent down on knees to pull the weeds away. Pests took their part, but left plenty. Each harvest, the village gathered together to each a share for all. Itaad suffered. Our body stayed whole. Trama dissipated. The grove planted here, as
