The Second Amendment and the New York Law
The new york law is similar to laws on the books in some other large states. It's older, in basely its current interation, than any those. In this particular case, the petitioners were not able to show proper cause,. They received restricted carry permits, which means they can take guns in certain places but basely just unpopulated areas. But they argue none the less, that this restrictive regime violates their second amendment rights.
