Colin Stagg's Ordeal Was Far From Over
The Met's case against Colin Stagg collapsed. Judge Ognell declared it to be improper, unfair and inadmissible. In a matter of moments, Colin Stagg was a free man. Rachel's father told news cameras that the law may have been upheld, but justice certainly was not. D.I. Keith Pedder later said in interview, I do not believe that justice was served to anyone on that particular day.
