How to Be a Successful Solo Founder
When I started the fund it was 60% founder, 40% market. Now it's 75%. Mostly because I said no to some people that I really liked and I didn't know as much about their market. We probably do more solo founded companies than most VC firms do. The big a high I've had is that so this summer my intern is doing a project on the founder retention across stage in our portfolio. It turns out a lot of companies drop. And I think the founder is along the way.
