Sartre's Philosophy of Love
I think Sartre's philosophy on love plays a big role in explaining also our desire for like passively engaging in love. And I think this is still with reference to the fact that I think women have the shortest end of the stick in this matter. It's very explicit with this issue and this sort of like they're kind of forced and socialized into trying to find approval. So she thinks that she still values love and she's completely for love. But it's that love has been misplaced with this patriarchal approval.
