As a manager, you want to think about how do I allocate my time to maximize the team's output? If it means doing the work myself, I'll do it myself. If it means delegating, I'll delegate it. And so this is where it gets really complicated, right? It's all about the right size wave. You have to figure out things that push people just past their zone of discomfort, but maybe not too far where they might drown.
