The Independence of the Department of Justice

There's no question we have more special counsels in the last few years than I've ever seen historically. The attorney general felt like he just had to in order to support this important principle of the independence of the Department of Justice from the political part of the executive branch. Now, whether Trump knew that that's what would happen or not, I don't know, I just- The evidence as he didn't know.
