The Wait Is Not Enough for Some Kids, Right?
The wait time is often enough for some kids, right? The point is just that they have to wait. And then more importantly, we want them to come back and communicate the right way. There's really no reason for that time as far as I see it to be spent in isolation. Also one thing that can really be helpful in encouraging kids to accept our no answers with self-control and respect is to add yes mom at the end.
