How to Evaluate a Patient With Sarcoidosis
There's some standardization to this process, but then there are sort of, for lack of a better word, artistic differences and how people approach this. Some people automatically when they suspect somebody has sarcoidosis, they like to do a PET scan. There are other testing that you can do that doesn't involve radiation and isn't quite as confusing as the PET scan in many instances. It's really the dysfunction that is the primary indication for treatment.
