There seems to be an innate drive in human beings to, as Evan said earlier, leave a legacy. And if you can't do that through the genetic means, you will do it via mimetic means. I think parents need to wake up to the way in which their children are being pretty relentlessly deprogrammed. This is a big lacuna in the whole sort of conservative political project as well. What do we do about schools? Because you can be taking a child to church, you can be teaching them whatever you want to find. But if they're spending 30, 40 hours a week, yeah, what do you do?
