How I Went From Privilege to Passionate About Data Platforms
I could have made a really long and lucrative career continuing to work on data platforms. My first step was thinking, can I continue this transition but do so while remaining at Google? And that being said, I also had no idea how to start. Climate is not a space. It is many spaces with endless deep dive capabilities into so many different domains. While pregnant, I started speaking to other teams at Google and ended up getting to a team called startups for sustainable development. We had hundreds of startups in the program and thought what software,. what services can Google deliver that could help all of these startups make more impact in their respective SDG focus areas.
