In general, no such thing as the same instance of a particle at different times. This is just like wt the finance example we had right at the beginning of the chapter. If there's two dollars in your bank account and the tax office owns one of them, it makes no sense to say which of them is yours - they're fungible even though there are two. And i'll just emphasize now as well, the astonishing fact that you yourself are made up of unaccountably infinite numbers of instances of yourself,. possibly unaccountably infinite number.
