Nathan Go's debut novel is called Forgiving a meldomarkos. The book explores the nature and purpose of forgiveness. It begins with a father in failing health, writing a letter to his journalist's son. He offers to tell him a story about an event that happened when he was a young man working as a chauffeur to Philippine president Coronavirus.
