Heracles was down again, sprawled out on the ground, gasping for breath. Athena intervened: He cannot be defeated on his home soil. But that does not mean he cannot be defeated at home. So why wasn't Alkionius attacking Heracles? And that's when the light bulb went on. Anger can sometimes cause humans to make poor decisions and act irrationally. Experts suggest you stop what you're doing, take a few very deep breaths, and count to 10, or 100, or 10,000 if you're an angry demigod wearing a lion's skin.
