Sink's Regime
Sink was put in command of the 503rd Infantry Regiment. He then went on to take charge of the 506th Infantry Regiment. The regiment would undergo training at Camp Tooms but Sink felt that the name Tooms was a a bad omen and applied for the name to be changed. It was changed to Camp To Coa, situated a couple of miles north west of the Kurahim Mountain. Troops were sent through their paces by being sent up and down the rocky mountain passes. After this the troops would be transferred over to Fort Benning which was officially renamed Fort Moore in May 2023.
