The FDA's Decision to Move to an Individual Risk Assessment
A lot of the questions prior to this change going into effect were really invasive. Sometimes the language was really homophobic and it focused on what the FDA perceived to be high risk behaviors. So now there's one standard across the board for all people who are interested in donating blood. And I keep saying that is a step in the right direction because it truly is because blood donations should be equal.
