We attribute success to ourselves and failure to a, to other peoplea. The availability bias is where we create a picture of the world using the examples that most easily come to mind. It can cause you to overestimate or underestimate the chances of a plane or a car crash. We prefer wrong information to no information. Ignorance is not bliss.
