The Legend of Zhongha
Admiral Zhongha, the Muslim Munich who defied all odds to rise to his position, was 61 years old in 1432. The treasure fleet voyages usually took a full year or two to complete. Some people believe that Zhongha returned to China and died in 1435, but most scholars tend to agree that he died at sea. In 1435, the emperor, Zhuzhan Jie, would die suddenly. Many historians consider his 10-year reign to be the height of the Ming dynasty.
