The A7 Corsair Warbird was first flown in 1965. The modern version can carry more than 115,000 pounds of armament and has a reputation for delivering weapons on target. For operation desert storm, 20 A7s were deployed in the Persian Gulf. If they were facing it out, 91 to replace with something that cost 10 times as much and was third to a fourth as effective.
