There is a perception out there that central bank digital currencies could amount to an effort to get away from the us Dollar as the dominant currency of the financial system. I won't mention any specific country names, but i think there are fears over a specific one and how credible are those concerns? And secondly, if we're talking about building a new payment system that involves central bank digital currencies, it feels like you need some sort of consensus among different countries. How do you go about building that consensus given these different interests in the way the financial system functions? That's a very important issue.
