The Role of Breaks in Employee Engagement
There is no federal mandate, but there are state mandates. So I don't know if we could say that all organizations have to provide breaks. And it does become more of a state level mandate. We wanted to acknowledge that there are some basic behavioral principles that certainly relate to the questions we were asking here. But there were no studies that explicitly looked at employee breaks. This is relatively novel for our field.
