The more eyes you have crawling the clinical literature or observing what's going on anecdotally with patients and in the lab work, the more successful your team will be. A lot of times primary care does get a bad rap but there's just so much pathology now we know so much more that you almost need specialists to refer out to. Knowing when to refer and when not to refer is very important.
