Dracular is a late nineteenth century novel. In its day it was a contemporary novel, it is. And i found it's amusingly close to the structure of the b b flix stracular that was to come almost exactly a century later. There are loose ends left hanging in nospora - there's a very enigmatic scene with ellen's sister-in-law where her candle is blown out by the wind. It doesn't really ever come to light precisely what happens tere.
