The Young Patriots and the Rainbow Coalition

This chapter explores the Young Patriot Organization, a group of white, self-identified hillbillies who formed a coalition with the Black Panthers to try to overthrow the government, capitalism, and racism. It also highlights the Black Panthers' support for the feminist and gay liberation movements.
