The Challenge of Maintaining the Pitch and Pace of Serialized Shows
I think one of the things about the show to just kind of echo Sam that I love the most is the way it doesn't posit, as you were mentioning earlier, like a post-apocalyptic landscape. There's been this sort of explosion with streaming and everything else of shows that are serialized but aren't Dr. Loyer cop shows. But those shows then have this challenge of like, can we maintain this pitch and this pace without becoming either goofy or boring or immoral? Right. Yes.
