The Importance of a Security Clearance

When I left the Air Force in 83, I had a job offer with United States, US Department of Energy as a security inspector. And that that involved a cue clearance. So I went directly from a secret intact clearance. Into a cue clearance review and granted a cue clearance to work as a contractor,. US Department of energy as a security Inspector. He says he never told anybody about it or anything like that. It's only one person I ever discussed it with. The only reason I didn't was because of a clearance.
