What's the Difference Between Subordinate and Purpose?

In the Greek text, we can see with more clarity what kind of that we have here. The second that is purpose, expressing purpose in order that it does start a subordinate clause and a second subordinate clause. And so whoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life. Now this but is also a conjunction. We put a box around it. And it really is participating with a what's called a point or counterpoint set. It's working with this not. So there's a denial happening. It's not this purpose but another purpose.
