How Do Individuals Manage Risk?
The only way to truly control risk is size and order entry. This has nothing to do with stop orders or protective puts. We're just talking about the i dea of reducing your standard deviation of risk. And you do that through non correlation of strategies and underlyings. That's diversification of strategy, diversification of underliings. You cannot do that as a passive investor.
