Is Compliance the Engine to Success?

Many projects self report as either having no methodology or using some kind of hybrid methodology. Compliance to process is not going to prevent mistakes, says imean iea. What made the project a success was did it deliver value and outcomes that everyone was hoping to get in terms of the project objectives? i think that's where the industry practice has evolved over the last 20 years.
