The peace is the culmination of my eight year struggle to understand what the hell happened. We have this long tradition of persuasion, and suddenly, suddenly, in 20 14, around there, intimidation came in. There was a new element, which was, if you say something, people won't argue why you're wrong. They'll slam you as a bad person. And on the left, they'll usually call you a racist. On the right, they'll call you a traider. It cannot be smart things when it gets structurally stupid. The corpe idea of the peace when o really very impatient to hear wa be anseed? Ha, ha. One of the world’s most influential social psychologists, a professor of ethical leadership at NYU's Stern School of Business, and a member of Persuasion's Board of Advisors, Jonathan Haidt is the author of The Righteous Mind and, with Greg Lukianoff, co-author of The Coddling of the American Mind. Haidt recently wrote a much-read feature in The Atlantic entitled “After Babel.”
