Moon Watcher - A Stargazer's Story
In the book, we encounter two proto human tribes vying with the same watering hole. A black obelisk appears and soon afterwards, moon watcher starts to develop tools. And what is the first tool he conceives, of a weapon, uses it to hunt with and later to kill a member of the rival tribe. Bill cooper famously went down this route in his mystery babylon series. Thus we are witnessing the first murder in this interpretation, one of which grows out of technology.
