How Much Time Do You Spend on Opening Preparation?

An enorm tournament, when you know who you're playing, ind what colors you have, the opening preparation becomes more specific to the opponent. In a norm tournament its it's more playor specific. And how often do you feel like you you get the position, the opening you expected in these norm tournaments? I imagine there would be a lot of zagging from people. You know, it's about 50 %, give or take. We're trying to guess what their opponents are going to play. To some degree, that's actually worse helping to pret for people, because then you actually have to watch and play. It can be tricky.

As the title suggests, we feature Master-level players who are training and competing with the hope of earning the FIDE International Master title (IM.)
