What Is Lime Disease?

Lime disease is an infection caused by the bacterium barelia berg dorfery. It's transmitted through those tiny, bity black legged ticks. The key to diagnosis is often the rash, which occurs in up to 90 % of lime disease cases. If you see that after a bite, or if you come down with that, or other symptoms after hanging out where ticks may live, talk to a medical professional so that they can make an informed diagnosis.
