The Behavior Lens Is the Big Nono
The behavior lens is the one that we don't want you to use. That's looking at your child's behavior as just what you see on the surface and judging it. The brain base lens will take those same kinds of behaviors, not responding to you, being angry or lashing out - but through biology. We can tell ourselves different stories about why our kids are behaving a particular way. And they're very different stories, and they'll provide you with very, very different outcomes.
