The Role of Love in My Life
I feel like if I didn't mention the word love at least once tonight I'd be remiss. It feels too often that it's not there but this book is so suffused with love and you can take that in any way you want. You know part of what made that that moment really difficult for me is that shortly before leaving Edmonton I had just come out to myself and my close community as asexual. That was a thing that had been really really hard for me to wrap my head around because I think I'd known it instinctively for some time. But went from being somebody really embedded in community to somebody suddenly on my own when I moved to Vancouver.
