Nathaniel Sturges had come to Cosima for help and was actually sitting there mulling over how much she was worthy of knowing. She felt her blood pressure rising. He lied about what he was going to do with what I gave him. And the worst of it is, that's nothing to what the people who are actually funding my research might do. The shattering of the glass broke the pub's sleepy atmosphere and sent Sturges leaping to his feet. A strained nervous laugh escaped from him. "I've kept what you need close to my chest.
