Is There a Difference Between Preprint and Preprint?
I've seen some, I've heard some people express some pessimism around this idea of how do you regulate what information is getting out there in a time where anyone could post anything. It would be better to make sure that scientists are not creating information in the first place that if shared would pose a hazard or enable someone to to do something dangerous. There's difference between whether something is on a personal website or on the cover of nature or science. And it's less easy to enforce and brings up a lot of difficult challenges.
