What Are Your Symptoms?
When you're sick, when you've got a cold, your throat swells up. So that's to swell up. Swollen is the adjective. You could say, for example, my throat is very swollen or my glands are swollen. And so it's like this, hi, how's it going? Oh, not too good really. No, you sound a bit ill actually. Yeah, I'm a bit under the weather actually. Oh really? What's the matter? Oh, well, I think I've got flu or a cold or something. I don't know.Oh really? What are your symptoms?
