Some people join Cults because they want to feel more special than other people. So, I'd say maybe we all have a bit of that in us, but it can't really bring it out in us. And this is why a lot of them rise to the top and there because it speaks to their power hunger or true spiritual arrogance. It's hard, isn't it? Because we all want to be special, but you can't have 8 billion special people.
