The Early Dominicans' Preaching Act

Father Gregory: The preaching act is a kind of overflow of the contemplative act. In other sense, you can think about it like an image used by one of the early friars preachers - that the friar was a bowl into whom God poured the abundance of divine life. So I think that what a Dominican is called to do is to kind of turn towards the Lord and then to hold them in that same gaze.
