Is It Only Reasonable to Have Hands on Experience for a Computer Science Degree?
Having such allignment with industry can be kind of worrisome for a university. They don't want to be producing gr duats that are only able to work for one company. So we've tried to overcome that by having that breadth through the work placement, so that the students are actually articipating in many different disciplines as they go through the programme. And we've been successful making a solid case to say there's lots of programmes where work experience is actually required to graduate.
